About

A wallet built for the Cosanta network

Cosanta is an open-source, decentralized payment network with a native UTXO ledger and a fixed maximum supply of roughly 56.04 million COSA. The network is secured by Proof-of-Stake consensus and Long-Living Masternode Quorums (LLMQs), with deterministic masternodes providing stable, low-latency services.

Cosanta Wallet is the easiest way to take part: a focused, lightweight non-custodial client that keeps your COSA safe and under your control. There is no sign-up, no email, no identity check — just install, save your recovery phrase, and go.

“Your keys, your coins. Everything else is just someone else's promise.”

Features

Everything you need, nothing you don't

A focused toolset for holding and using COSA — designed to be simple for newcomers and powerful enough for masternode operators.

Non-custodial by design

Non-custodial by design

Your private keys are generated and encrypted locally on your device. They never leave it — no server, no custodian, no counterparty risk. Only your BIP39 recovery phrase can restore access.

Fast, low-cost transfers

Fast, low-cost transfers

Send and receive COSA with ~150-second block times and minimal fees. The network is secured by deterministic masternodes and LLMQ-based quorums for reliable, near-instant confirmation.

Masternode & staking ready

Masternode & staking ready

Track collateral, monitor rewards and manage masternode payouts. Regular masternodes require 10,000 COSA collateral; evo masternodes require 40,000 COSA and unlock advanced network services.

HD wallet with seed backup

One BIP39 / BIP44 recovery phrase restores every address. Your wallet stays portable and future-proof across any Cosanta-compatible client.

Built-in explorer access

Built-in explorer access

Verify transactions, addresses and blocks on the Cosanta blockchain explorer without leaving the app. Full transparency, no trust required.

Open source & MIT licensed

Open source & MIT licensed

Cosanta Core and the wallet are open source under the MIT license. Anyone can inspect, audit and contribute to the code, with reproducible builds for verified releases.

Technology & Security

Security you don't have to think about

Cosanta Wallet follows a simple rule: sensitive data never leaves your device. Everything — key generation, encryption, transaction signing — happens locally, and the code is open for anyone to audit.

  • AES-256 encrypted key storage

Private keys and wallet metadata are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Unlocking requires your password or device biometrics — the encryption key never leaves your device.

  • 100% local transaction signing

Transactions are constructed and signed locally. Only the fully signed transaction is broadcast to the Cosanta network; raw keys or passwords are never transmitted.

  • No tracking, no analytics

No ads, no third-party trackers, no behavioural analytics and no account registration. Your balances, addresses and usage stay entirely private.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Question

Quick answers to the most common questions about Cosanta Wallet, COSA coins, mining, staking and masternodes.

What is Cosanta and how is COSA different from a token?+

Cosanta is a standalone cryptocurrency with its own blockchain. Unlike tokens that live on another chain, COSA is a native coin, which means it can run its own network services, masternodes and governance without relying on a third-party platform.

How can I get COSA coins?+

You can earn COSA by downloading the Cosanta Core wallet and activating Proof-of-Work mining, or you can buy COSA through the recommended exchangers listed on the official Cosanta site. Always use trusted sources and verify addresses before sending funds.

Is Cosanta Wallet custodial? Do you hold my keys?+

No. Cosanta Wallet is non-custodial. Your private keys are generated and encrypted directly on your device. They never leave your computer or phone, and no one — including the Cosanta team — can access or recover them without your recovery phrase.

Which platforms are supported?+

Cosanta Core is available for Windows, macOS and Linux. For Android you can use the P.CASH mobile terminal. Download the latest release from the official download page and always verify the installer before running it.

How do masternodes work and what collateral is required?+

Masternodes help secure and speed up the Cosanta network. To run one, you need 10,000 COSA for a regular masternode or 40,000 COSA for an evo masternode, held as collateral in your wallet. You also need a VPS with at least 2 GB RAM, a public IPv4 address and port 60606 open.

What are the staking / coin-stacking rewards?+

After COSA coins have been held for 24 hours, they become eligible to earn a Proof-of-Stake reward. In the early years the reward is 50 COSA and it halves approximately every 4 years. Total supply is capped at roughly 56.04 million COSA.

How is the Cosanta network secured?+

Cosanta uses a hybrid Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake model, reinforced by a network of masternodes. Because it is proof-of-stake, it does not require massive computing power to stay secure, and masternode operators participate in network services and governance.
